Krewe of Morpheus

The Krewe of Morpheus was established in 2000. Mid-summer 2003 the Krewe of Morpheus Re-organized with the installment of new Officers. They also brought in a very talented and well known Mardi Gras veteran of over 30 years as their new Captain. Since his installment He has significantly increased membership and brought in new and fresh faces to represent the Krewe. The Krewe of Morpheus has managed to own a few signature floats during this Re-organization. The Captain's Float , Title Float , Temple Of Morpheus , "Sweet Dreams" Float and A Icon Float that will be on display in the 2008 parade for the first time. The Captain has attributed the success to the hard work of the Officers and Members of the Krewe. The Krewe of Morpheus strives to bring that old school parade format to the city it loves, New Orleans. Morpheus parades on February 1, 2008 , on the traditional St. Charles and Canal Street route.
